On April 24, Illinois Dept. of Natural Resources conservation police, accompanied by Cook County Animal Control officers, confiscated four coyotes that were being kept in pens at a Tinley Park residence.
For 13 years, Tomi Tranchita had been caring for the coyotes in her backyard.
