Incumbent David Kaptain appears to have bested challenger Carol Rauschenberger in Tuesday’s mayoral election.

With all 61 precincts in Kane County counted, unofficial results had Kaptain receiving 64.89% of the votes, or 3,599 votes, to Rauschenberger’s 32.55%, or 1,805 votes.
