MILWAUKEE — One person is dead following a serious crash near 13th and Morgan that happened Thursday, April 11.
According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy witnessed a person driving recklessly on I-43 shortly after 5 p.m., and followed the vehicle off the Holt Avenue exit.
Officials attempted to stop the vehicle but it crashed at the intersection near 13th and Morgan — striking another vehicle. The driver in the vehicle that was struck was killed as a result.

Authorities say inside their vehicle, a firearm and drugs were located.
The crash remains under investigation by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
