A man was shot and killed Monday afternoon at the “Tent City” homeless encampment near the Dan Ryan Expressway, authorities said.
The shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. on a state-owned embankment near the Taylor ramp of the Dan Ryan in the South Loop neighborhood, Illinois State Police said.
