A 7-mile-long ice jam on the Kankakee River near Wilmington has prompted first responders to go door to door, urging residents to prepare for quick evacuation in the event of flash flooding.
“If this does happen, it will happen very, very quickly,” Wilmington police Chief Phillip Arnold said Friday....
