MILWAUKEE — The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for all of southeast Wisconsin from 3 a.m. until 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27.
The advisory impacts the following counties: Dodge, Fond du Lac, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha.
According to the FOX6 Weather Experts, some light snow is possible Saturday evening, but will only amount to a few tenths of an inch. We’ll see partly cloudy skies and cold temperatures overnight, with a low of -2.
Our bigger snowstorm moves in Sunday evening and will last throughout much of Monday. Expect high totals, potentially near 12 inches in northern spots, and very windy conditions. A winter storm warning has been issued for all of southeast Wisconsin until 6 p.m. Monday.
Temperatures will drastically fall by Monday evening and continue falling throughout Tuesday. Highs Wednesday will be well below 0 with wind chills in the 40s below 0.
