MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened outside the YMCA near 14th and North. It happened Saturday night, Nov. 10.
Kids were playing basketball and having fun inside the YMCA, when the shooting unfolded outside. YMCA Branch Director Rayven Peterson says it happened outside the entrance of the building.
Adults inside took action to make sure YMCA members and staff were safe while the police were outside piecing things together.

The ordeal created panic for parents who didn't know what was going on.
It's unclear if there were any injuries.
The shooting remains under investigation.
