A 20-year-old man was fatally shot on the city’s Far South Side Thursday at noontime.
It happened about 11:45 a.m. in the 1200 block of West 96th Street in the Longwood Manor neighborhood, police said.
Police did not give details but said no one was in custody.
Area South detectives are investigating.
