CHAMPAIGN — Joliet Catholic running back Nick Iannantone was ready for his close-up.

After conceding the spotlight to standout Keenan Hailey for much of the season, Iannantone was thrust into a starring role Saturday against Montini in the Class 5A state championship game.

He didn’t disappoint.
